Elia Kazan – GOP/ParaCentury

Kazan is a real historical figure, but his life was different in L.A. Turner is running Elia Kazan for Mayor, as ParaCentury begins to develop its Campaign. Kazan was a big director back before the break, had a couple big films and was just gearing up. Then the severing came, and he spent the next ten years making propaganda films and small budget stuff. Eventually went into Politics as an Anti-Communist. You've seen some of the movies he made in the Alt, they were imported from ENY and released by ParaCentury. They were spectacular. They say that turned him bitter. He's a mean bitter man. But he's a competent politician and at least seems to care about people in a general way even if he's personally bitter and angry. There could be worse. They think they can get people to see a bit of Reagan in him, and he understands the dangers of Communism better than most people. Everyone is muttering that the Movement is getting stronger and that it's real this time.
